Silverlight could thus offer a sort of "get out of jail free" card for Mac users who can't access content because Apple has failed to licence Microsoft's DRM (which is easily done over he web: small Asian companies can manage it), or to provide a viable alternative. About 18 months ago, I pointed out that Microsoft was working on a version of Silverlight for the Mac that would play WMV movies, and that included a DRM option. ![]()
